Daron Blankenship PT, DPT received her Doctoral of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University in 2019 and her Bachelor of exercise science with an emphasis in communication studies from the University of Georgia in 2016. Growing up with a younger brother who has autism, she decided to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy in the hopes of interacting with and giving families the positive physical therapy experience her brother/family graciously experienced for over 10 years. While in physical therapy school, she had a long term clinical at Cincinnati Children’s Perlman Center, saw a variety of diagnoses with Duke University’s Movement Matters pro-bono clinic, and assisted with the University of North Carolina’s constraint therapy “hemi-camp.” Daron is thrilled to be back in Georgia and a part of the TOTs team! In her free time she enjoys playing tennis and volleyball, running, hiking, trying new restaurants (open to any suggestions), spending quality time with friends and family, entertainment shows, and exploring/attending Atlanta based events along the beltline.
