Patricia is a licensed speech language pathologist in both the state of Georgia and the state of New York. She is also certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Originally from Bronx, NY she earned her Bachelors degree in Commuication Sciences and Disorders in 1995 from Queens College and her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1998 from Hunter College. Patricia knew early on that she wanted to work with children and was inspired to become a speech language pathologist by her eldest sister, who is also a speech language pathologist. Patricia has worked with pediatric populations for all of her career in elementary schools, preschools, daycares, clinic, and home settings. Her primary clinical interests are early language development, apraxia and significant phonological disorders, specific language impairment, and alternative communication. Patricia and her family, which includes her husband, three children, and her mother, relocated to Georgia in July 2017 from Eastchester, NY to be closer to her sister’s family and enjoy the laid back (and warmer) southern lifestyle. When she is not working at TOTS, she enjoys being with her family and watching their lacrosse and cheer activities , reading, spending time with extended family, and planning trips to the ocean.
