Steve Doran, PT, DPT earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2001 from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cedarville University in 1997. He has therapy experience in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, early intervention, and aquatic therapy. Steve and Alyssa started paddle boarding aquatic therapy at the lake in summer of 2015. Clinical interests include improving motor skills and facilitating independent walking. He served as president of the Autism Society of America/GA chapter and received an Autism Hero Award in 2008 and 2009. He is the recipient of the Best of Gwinnett Award for PT in both 2009 and 2010. Steve resides in Dacula, Georgia with his wife, Heather, and their three children.
