Tara is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist by the State of Georgia and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is originally from Queens, New York. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York ay Stony Brook and her Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology from the College of Saint Rose. She has close to 14 years of experience in the area of speech and language. All of those years have been working with the pediatric population. She has has experience working in the private sector, early intervention and the public school system. In addition to working for Tender Ones, Tara also works as an adjunct college professor for an online university where she teaches courses related to Early Childhood Development and Autism Spectrum Disorders. When she is not working, she is busy running around with her two young boys and cheering them on from the sidelines at their sporting events.
