Intensive Pediatric Therapy
Why Pediatric Intensive Therapy?
Is your child facing developmental challenges that require extra focus and support? At Tender Ones Therapy Services, we offer intensive therapy programs that are tailored to meet your child’s specific needs. With the support of our expert therapists, your child can build skills, improve function, and gain confidence in just a few weeks.

What Is Intensive Pediatric Therapy?

Intensive pediatric therapy is ideal for children who need more frequent therapy to achieve their developmental goals. These programs are designed to address specific therapy goals over a period of 2-3 hours per day, 5 days a week, for 2-3 weeks.
By providing more frequent and longer therapy sessions, children are given the opportunity to practice and develop skills at an increased rate. This can help them reach milestones faster, improve their physical or functional abilities, and work on overcoming challenges they may be facing.
Our Intensive Pediatric Therapy Programs
We offer a variety of intensive therapy programs to help your child achieve their specific developmental goals, including:
Intensive Physical Therapy
Intensive physical therapy can help if your child is recovering from an injury, dealing with a neurological condition, or struggling with muscle weakness. This program helps them build strength and improve movement through targeted and repetitive exercises.
Intensive Occupational Therapy
Our intensive occupational therapy program provides focused support for children who need help building the skills necessary for daily activities, such as playing, sensory processing, or taking care of their own needs.
Intensive Feeding Therapy
If your child has challenges with chewing, swallowing, or feeding behaviors, our intensive feeding therapy program focuses on building the skills needed for safe and enjoyable mealtimes.
Intensive Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT)
CIMT is a specialized therapy designed for children with an impaired upper extremity. It involves gently constraining the unaffected arm to encourage the use of the affected one, which can help your child build strength, function, and coordination. This intensive approach allows children to make significant gains in their ability to use both hands effectively.
